    Why didn’t you plaster the walls and use slate tiles? In the UK we build homes to last, that’s why we still have 100-600 year old buildings still standing. Drywall tape and jointing is inferior to plastering, and as for that shingle roof shit I aint even gonna even comment. You guys build great buildings I just question your roofs and wall systems.

    So apart of the foundation the rest of the house is made of wood? a few questions if i may.
    are all the houses in the us built similarly?
    is the wooden structure as strong as the concrete one? what is the weight limit for the first floor for example?
    Is it cheaper to built compared to brick and concrete?
    what is the average life expectancy and what is the maintenance a wooden house needs? i saw someone above said something about wood infestation.

    @habbomanish you have to get education on codes and permits first
    the government, at least here in canada requires an approved building plan before you can build.
